My name is Kathleen, Kathy, or Kate depending on who I am talking to. I grew up in rural Afton, Minnesota, and went to the University of Minnesota where I earned a B.S. in Horticulture Science from the College of Agriculture. After working for the U of M Agricultural Extension Service for a couple of seasons, I decided to take classes at Bethel Theological Seminary, where I met my husband. This led to our living in the parsonage. Along the way, I also earned a K-8th grade elementary teaching licensure from The College of St. Scholastica. I home schooled our two children from kindergarten through graduation, and now I substitute teach at the local school district. Hopefully in this blog I can combine my love of God, horticulture, and teaching to inspire and encourage you somehow in your daily life! Thanks for stopping by and come back often!
